10.4.9, anyone? (running ok?)

Just wondering if the OS X 10.4.9 update makes any difference to SL. If you did the update, is it running fine? I used to be brave about these things, installing every update the minute it came out. Got burned a few too many times

me too - macintouch has a mixed bag of reports from people updating. but lol, my drive's pretty full up too as is... need to do a big spring-clean backup anyways, so think i'll try to get that done first and do a nice fresh rebuild...

Runs fine for me on my macbook pro. I'd advise you use the comboupdate for 10.4.9 from the Apple downloads page though, in lieu of the 'software update' route. Many people HAVE been having problems with 10.4.9 after using the software update to it.

I'm unable to upload texture anymore now that I updated both my Macs (PowerBook G4 and iMac Core 2 Duo)  The client crashes upon selection of the file. |

thanks for the answers folks..
about the texture upload, I had a similiar problem with bulk uploads, when
one of the files did not have a filename extension.

Not sure of that because I run 10.4.9 for a day only, but the graphic drivers update seems benefical to the iMac G5+GeForce FX5200 combination (known to mangle textures in an horrible way).
