I'll list them in order of occurence - all occured for the first time today, on Sandbox Island.
-While using a posestand, I was unable to link a prim to the object I had attached to my head. It's entirely my creation, so permissions shouldn't appy to me with it, as I understand it, but I set it to mod/no copy/trans. Later I was able to link the same prim to it, while it was sitting near the ground. Is this a bug? -I was never able to copy the prim, whether or not it was linked to the others. I got a message: "unable to process your request. Please try again later". -As I've had problems with the sandbox being full before (yesterday), I checked the prim usage on the land. It was only about half full (though last time it gave me a message to the effect that it was full, so it was a long shot).
I doubt it's my computer, as I didn't have a problem with it yesterday, but I am running OSX (Tiger). Also, my computer seems to be able to handle fairly high settings, albeit with sometimes severe lag, so that I lowered the settings yesterday.

This should really be in the building forum I think - but no it's not a bug.
When you're wearing an attachment you are part of the linked set, and held in a privileged position (link no 2, always from memory, but always in the same position). Because of this you can't change linkages for attached items because the system has heart failure trying to work out all the changes so they've just blocked it.
It's certainly not a mac specific thing either, it's a general protection built into SL, but I hope that explains why for you.
The objects count can be wildely optimistic sometimes. If you hunt around you can find posts from people on no build land where the object count changes more or less as they watch (you have to refresh it obviously) for no apparent reason.
Object counts in sandboxes (at least busy ones) are hopelessly out of date by the time you read them I suspect, all those builders rezzing, deleting etc. will make an accurate count kind of impossible.
