I have been searching for a thread on this for the last few days. Durring and after the grid was down, when I click on my SL hand icon,all I get is a question mark overlapping it. I'm totally shut out. I apolagize in advance if this issue has been in a thread before. But I haven't found any and being the weekend...no tech support. Any help would be great, being a newbie and all. Happy New Years, by the way! Thanks- Rio

Broken alias?

The only thing I can think of is that maybe your are clicking on an
alias (shortcut) of SL and it is broken, this happened to me after one of the updates.
Did you try opening your applications folder and clicking diectly on the SL icon in it?

I looked in my applications folder and couldn't find it. So I just re-installed and it seems to be working fine again. It's wierd, this all started happening after the update. But now, even my shortcut seems to be working fine again. Thanks again!
