avatar frozen in place

i just upgraded tonight and at first the game was running normally, if a bit slow, but after a bit, i was unable to detach clothing or accessories anymore. then i noticed that i was frozen in place and could no longer move except to turn left or right. i tried sitting on various objects to move away, but no dice. then i tried transporting away, but could not do that either. i quit the game and restarted, but was still frozen in place as before.

Moments where your AV stops moving except for rotating left or right is usually caused by connection failure. Means the client has stopped talking to Secondlife server and so cant make a decision of where you next go so just sits there.

Ok, so I am having the same problem with being frozen in place from time to time. It happened a bit with the last upgrade, but it's happening more often with this one. I can see my movement controls highlighting which way I was trying to go, but I can't move. I can't chat either...but I can move the camera. I usually have to log out and back in again. When I log back in, though, I can move again...until it happens again. It's happening several times a night.

Any ideas on what that is? Is it a setting I can change or anything? I'm on a G5 running )S 10.3.9....I will be upgrading to the latest system software in the next week or so. I just wondered if the system software is the problem or if it's something else.
