I used to use the OpenGL Profiler work around to run on my 8600 equipped laptop. But recently it has stopped working. I click Launch but it just hangs. I need to force quit OpenGL Profiler and SL (if it started). I've even had to force a reboot.

I've tried with the Nicholaz patched and stock client.

Any advice?

Have you changed SL viewer? updated to a new one? re-point the profiler to the new viewer.

The OpenGL profiler that is installed on your system may be out of date. I had to go to the ADC and download a new one for my aluminum imac.

I had updated the viewer but I had put it in the same place. On the off chance that that was the issue, I deleted it and then put it back. It works now but only once after a reboot.

I'll try getting a new one thanks, too busy watching the Red Sox now!
