I'm obviously doing something seriously wrong here as every time I tried to upload a pic to SL the viewer crashes big time.
I've only recently changed from a PC t a MAC so I'm still fumbling around a bit so bear with me!
But not being able to upload things is having a serious impact on my ability to create new things in SL :-(
Anyone able to point me in the right direction to get this fixed?
Mac OS X 10.5.5
iMac 2.8 Intel Core 2 Duo
2GB 667 Mhz DDR2 DRAM

Thanks!
Paul

This may be what you are running into...

There is a bug - reported in jira - with uploads. I dont have the number. If they wont track them neither will I. This MAY be what you are running into.

If you try to upload a .PSD file the client will not gracefully tell you that it does not recognize the graphic format (as it should), instead the client just nastily crashes.

It is very easy to unintentionally save a file from photoshop with a ".PNG" or ".JPG" or ".TGA" extension that is really a .PSD file without wanting to. Check that your file(s) are what you think they are.
