I am looking for a few good Mac users to help with some of my thing in SL. If you are willing to volunteer some time to help I would appreciate it. I need to find out how to set up Mac users to dj on the net and also how to set up a mac user to do live streaming.

Barbie I'm going to recommend that you look into the SL Music Community forums. There are entire areas for musicians and DJs who need technical help in getting set up to stream and perform in SL. Here's the URL:

Pretty much a one word reply to this:
NiceCast. More info: Nicecast is a very good, flexible stream origination client for the Mac. It is shareware $40 but it's been worth every penny and is much less than SAM on the PC, I've been using it to stream live shows into SL for over 2 years. Not connected to Rogue Amoeba other than as a happy customer. I believe you'll get roughly the same answer out of nearly all Mac based live artists. For more info and discussion you might want to check out the SL Live Music Community forum site here: http://slmc.myfastforum.org/index.php You can also evaluate the software - it is fully functional for 20 min at a time, then inserts white noise. Once you've registered this limitation goes away. _____________________
