I am in the process of purchasing a new laptop. My RL business has new software that can be run only on Vista or Mac. (both versions on the same DVD). I don't have either. Which mac laptop seems to have the least problems with SL. My RL Mac owner friends say the worst day with a Mac is still better than the best day with Windows. :) Thanks in advance for any replies.

Latest MacBook Pro runs SL fine in Vista... and eventually they'll get around to updating it to work well in the MacOS X side, too. I can run it in Mac if I set to windowed mode, and reduce the window size to like 1/2 or less the overall screen size. Otherwise it quickly crashes the whole computer.

Vista on a IMac

How about running SL on a Vista partition in a IMac? It'll worth the effort? I've seen the graphic card benchmarks under OsX and Vista on the same machine and the difference is overwhelming.
Let me know

My friend did, and as far I know he still does, and he said it is the best of all the versions he has tried, and he has tried all of them, Mac, Windows and Linux.

Oh well, under Vista tha SAME videocard (physically the same, running first under OSX and then - reboot - under Vista in a IMac Alu partitioned with bootcamp) at least doubles its performances in 3D games.
