After reading through this forum, I'm happy my computer is new and fast,...but I've also noticed that SL eats processor cycles like nobody's business. If I launch the application and just sit idle at the login screen, Activity Viewer shows SL is using 99-105% of the processor (I assume >100% because I have a core2duo,...so using up one core and then some?). The fan turns on, and I can feel the laptop heat up. Does this happen to the rest of you? I saw a post about reducing video to 128MB of VRAM vs 256MB. How do you do that? Will that help?

Thanks

Yes, my macbook is making an awful lot of noise with SL running, heats up a lot.

The video memory reduction can be done from SL graphics options, I run my macbook with the 32MB option, 64MB gets all choppy.
