...I'm little worried about the possibility that Panther OS will not be support in future... Are these one unfounded worries?

Eventually any older version of an OS will cease being supported... but I wouldn't worry about Panther just yet. Tiger, Panther and Leopard are all OK right now for SL, though they are still working some of the bugs out of it for getting the SL client to work properly with the new Leopard OS.

Luca What sort of Mac are you running that can't be upgraded to Tiger, or even Leopard? Any Mac fast enough to run SL decently should meet the requirements for at least Tiger. So when/if Panther becomes unsupported, just move to Tiger and you should be good. |
