i think the config file is called arguments.txt. Add
-login -multiple

Hi, the simplest way is to paste this line /Applications/Second\ Life.app/Contents/MacOS/Second\ Life -multiple into a Terminal window and press Enter. Notice : adapt the path to your actual path if different.
