Somehow the secondlife: protocol on my Mac is now set to launch the SL beta application as its helper app. I tried to use the More Internet preference pane to set the secondlife protocol to use the production SL app, but it says that I can't set Second Life as the helper for that protocol, and now it defaults to the finder when I use secondlife:// or a SLurl.
Anyone else seeing this, and any advice?
Thanks, Kiwini

You may need to rebuild your LaunchServices cache. The easiest would be using freeware tools like MainMenu or OnyX.

Huh. That's pretty rare. I'm with Peekay on this one, use Onyx to rebuild the whole database. RCDefaultApps will let you fix one at at time, but you may as well redo them all...takes more time, but its less error-prone. Snag Onyx at http://www.titanium.free.fr/pgs2/english/onyx.html
