"Act like", Jesse. No foul language, no accusations, just the suggestion that an otherwise intelligent person sometimes acts like he has injured himself.
Yes, I was testing the boundaries, because with all that has been said in the forums, I really have no idea where they are. Allowing that thread to go on, when the intentions of the thread-creator were so clear, and then closing it down in that manner, contributes to the problem. It may appear to be a very fine line between a personal attack and a critique of another's questions, but in this case, it was not. It was completely obvious. As obvious and as close to boundaries of acceptable behavior as my final comment.
You've demonstrated that the way to shut Prokofy down is to behave like him. I won't do that anymore because I've made my point. But others will, and have.
The bloody thing about this situation is that I very much sympathize with you and other Lindens in how you're handling all of this. So this is not a complaint or a scream, this is just a point made.
OK, I'm done. Feel free to delete this thread.

Well put Seth. Let's all start acting like this. My recent favorite is getting around the TOS by making accusations in a declaratory manner, but just throwing a question mark on at the end.

Our daily forum griever has caused no less than 3 threads locked today. A few yesterday, several the day before.
How many thread locks does it take to get banned? None apparently for one. Less for us.

Seems to me threads are locked not only due to one person. Lindens often seem to lock a thread without explaining why they have locked it, and they don't just point to one person, and in doing so they may wish to send a signal to everybody in the thread -- can't hurt. If they have one person to single out, they tend to edit that person's remarks out. From: someone just the suggestion that an otherwise intelligent person sometimes acts like he has injured himself. Sounds like another personal insult. A thread about a thread closure -- now is that allowed? Why not get back to polysci?

And accusing 3rd party sites of "honing" in on your RL location, exposing alts, or embedding trojans are proper topics? Practice what you preach or else be prepared to be called out every single time.
