Why is this forum called "political science?" I've read through it, and there's nothing like political science going on here. No binomial regression analysis, no chi-squared calculations, no rigorous or objective discussion of any kind of political or economic policy phenomenon. Seems to be all about simple political debate, not political science. I was hoping maybe somebody'd written papers, maybe published an inworld journal or something.

So what binomial regression analysis, chi-squared calculations, rigorous or objective discussion did you add to this forum?
Or were you just adding to the "no rigorous or objective discussion of any kind of political or economic policy phenomenon" ???

Welcome to the SL In-World Political Science Discussion forum, a place to discuss the process, principles, and structure of SL-related political institutions and government. This is the place to hash out the ideas behind Resident-organized governments, themed builds, self-governing sims and the like. This is not a place to discuss RL politics or to personally attack those who hold differing viewpoints.
Please remember this forum isn't a place to talk about or debate RL politics. Please keep things focused on in-world issues. Thanks.

From: Jonny Dingo So what binomial regression analysis, chi-squared calculations, rigorous or objective discussion did you add to this forum? OK. Where on these forums would I do that? Can you direct me to what you've done?

From: Kong Dassin But that's not "political science". That's "government" and "ideological studies." I don't make the rules; I just cut and paste them. ---- addendum ----------- At first I just made the smart alec response above, but there is a serious answer to your question. People with special interests can form a group within Second Life, which costs 100 lindens to form. When group membership reaches 20 members, the group is entitled to a forum. You can send a forum request to the forum moderator, Jeska Linden. You can send the request through email, I believe, which should be jeska@secondlife.com, or you can use the forum's private messaging system. A message sent to Jeska inworld might work also. Two moderators will need to be selected, I believe. Hope that helps.
