Granted, I'm still a newbie to SL and all, but having been around for a major patch and seeing the commotion it's caused, I've been talking with a lot of the older residents about previous versions. One thing I came across what Cubey Terra's blog, where one entry was his celebration of his second year on SL. Reading from the list made me wonder if there's any in-world museum of all the changes that have happened in SL from the beginning to today. Perhaps it would make an interesting place for newbies to visit and see how SL has changed for the better/worse. Include major residents that have contributed to the world to make it what it is today; the Lindens, Apotheus Silverman, Cubey Terra, Anshe Chung, just to name off a few that I've noticed so far in my short stay seem to have a bit of history and pull in-world. Maybe I've just not explored enough of SL and actually found a museum like this (if there is one, that is), but I want to know what other residents would think about a running museum in-world.

GOOD DAY TO YOU DOC :D

It's admirable you've been talkin' to older Resis to find out what has come before.

You are welcome to visit the SL Historical Museum @ Phobos (225, 166)

ALSO

http://history.secondserver.net

ALSO

Go to Governor's Mansion in Clementina (look for the classic house at the top of the hill) and dig into the basement.

A lot of history gets passed around orally but not committed yet.

Maybe someday, I know you're onto something!

Ohh...thank you much for the links. Once I get out of my boring econ class for the night, I'll definitely be doing a bit of exploring to those areas. I should have known there was a museum somewhere around here; SL's just too big to *NOT* have one.
