For information:

After a vote (using group proposal) Blumfield has elected its first mayor - Max Case.

In the first 10 minutes of being mayor Max declared martial law, demanded tributes and taxes, then wee'd on the assembled throng.

All in all, a strange start to a new era.

That was NBurg's alternative plan for gov't. So far, sounds like it's more successful than their current one.

Max is a fun guy -- very unconventional. He came zooming up the coast in his radical saucerlike vehicle when I was building something fairly high over the sandbox land I owned at the time, about two thirds of Windermere. I was at the right elevation to be able to hop onto Max's vehicle, and he didn't mind that at all, nor did his original passenger, so we zipped around trying to find more people to pick up and dump at the WA.

In my opinion Max will liven up the place. Good choice : )
