Hello,
I just ran a search for "teen grid" in this forum, and I didn't get any meaningful results. Are any self-government projects hapening on the Teen Grid? Does anyone think it would be a good idea to try and start one? I'd like to be part ofe one, but haven't been able to find one on the TG.

I've always figured it was this wild, anarchic, rave-punctuated wasteland.

But wouldn't that be the point? :)

Self-Government in SL? What does that mean? Care to post a detailed outline of what you propose?

This isn't the teen grid's forums... maybe that has something to do with why you can't find anything about it...

The teen grid forums are restricted acess, just like the teen grid itself. Only residents of the teen grid can view it.

Hmm, ok. When I go to teen.secondlife.com and click Forums, it sends me here.

I tried it after logging out so and it told me I needed to log in to access forums, while logged in on this account it does send me here. I don't have a teen account to do a more accurate test. It could be that it is sending you here as well because yours is an adult account.

Hi Interfect! I'm not a teen, but it sounds like a great idea. You just need a few people to start your resident government. Our successful gov't of 38 citizens started with two energetic founders. -Pel (Neufreistadt)

Global Kids work in the teen grid

You can learn about Global Kids work in the teen grid at http://www.holymeatballs.org.
Eventually we will probably set up a teen advisory and give control of island policies and builds to them. I know other orgs, like the new teen library, are considering similar directions as well.

How is it that you both are meant to be in the teen grid but you are posting here in the adult Forum?

It happens sometimes, often around patching times. Usually they contact Torley or some other forum Linden and get straightened out immediately. Though I'm not sure if any of these posters have stated they are from the teen grid.

I think LL might have combined the forums. forums.secondlife.com used to take me to a TG-specific forum, but now it takes me here. Has this happened to anyone else, or did my account fall victim to some kind of bug? I know there was a proposal to unify the forums floating around the TG forum, but I'd think LL would *say* something if they did that.

Yep, going by what Amber said (which makes sense) you might want to contact customer support and let them know you can't reach the teen forums. I mean obviously thats where you'd rather be than here with all us old farts. :p

Actually I would recommend trying to get a hold of Robin Linden or Torley Linden (torley@lindenlab.com), I think they can fix it the fastest. :)
