I don't know the name of kind of pants I'm seeking, so that makes it very difficult to find even a picture of a pair.
You see them in movies about the early 1900's. They were often off white or khaki, very tight fitting except at the outer thigh where there is a little odd curve or arched segment on either side of the upper thigh. Maybe they are a type of jodhpurs, but not the usual kind. It's that weird arch at the thigh that's different.
World War I infantry wore something similar though not as tight. What the heck are they called?
The thigh part would have to be prims or sculpties I guess. Does anyone make them?

Excellent, Renee. I will probably purchase that outfit. Thanks. I think what I'm looking for really are jodhpurs according to this web site: http://www.wisegeek.com/what-are-jodhpurs.htm Third paragraph down he describes them as flaring at the hips. I 'd guess the flare part is next to impossible to work right. But,I'll keep looking. Hey, maybe I could just buy regular jodhpurs/riding pants, and boost the slider on my hips just for that outfit.

Just so you know, these will be fairly hard to do well in SL. The reason is that pants are sort of spray painted on the body, and bodies don't do that.
The alternative is to use objects, such as a suit of armor painted to look like jodphurs.
