It has come to my attention that some unscrupulous dealers are selling Starax freebie works as no-copy singles. I would very much like to find a free and copyable version of the Samson piece. If anyone has one they are willing to share, contact me in world.

Ouch.
I would also like a copyable version if anyone is kind enough and appreciates the artwork for what it is.

Thank you! The Sampson was a freebie? That seems surprising to me. Could it have been one of the pieces dat ended up being copied (which is part of why he left, I tink)? Mari

Mari I understand Starax left mainly due to his RL circumstances altering. In addition he was pretty disgusted by the constant breaking of documented LSL functions. |

tell ya what sucks.
I've got a couple of friends, a couple, who are pretty hardcore Starax collectors. Really cool people, wouldn't cheat anyone.
Well he had Pegasus. Not the flyable one...but the clear pegasus with beating wings and all...
NOT a freebie and had NOT had the permissions messed up. Very valuable.
And guess what.
Damn Update ATE IT.
I told him to Raise Hell with LL.
What do you guys think?

What do you guys think? The flying Pegasus that you are referring to is named Spirit. Have your friend search their inventory for that instead of Pegasus. Spirit is a copiable but non transferrable creation. Most rideable objects in SL have permissions set this way since crashes and sim borders have a tendency to separate them from their owners.
