Find and Sell your used products in this new group!

Hi everyone

Just wanted to let everyone know I just started a new (free to join) group that I think may be pretty useful to everyone. But without members, its useless, which is why my cute self is here

The group is called "Used not abused" which you will be able to find through search in groups, it is open enrollment.

The idea is basically that I think we all have way too many things burning in our inventory we never use. I guarantee would be useful to someone else in game. Send out notices in the group to either sell your USED objects, scripts, shape, ball, anything you can think of, there are no limits, or you can send out notices of what youre looking for. Hopefully someone in the group has just the thing you needed and doesn't need it anymore.

Rules of the group:
**No excessive spamming
**No advertising
** USED products ONLY

Hopefully we can all get some use out of it, maybe make a little extra cash, or even save some Lindens. Again, its a brand new group, just thought it would be help to us all, but the more members we have the more stuff we find!

Again, the name of the group is "Used not Abused", enrollment is free and open to all.
Plus you get the cool "I got used" title LOL

oh lord hon aren't you the brave one. well.

Firstly, even tho it's silly, I think that whenever you talk about this group, you should remind people that only items for which they have Transfer permission can be given/sold. Just so you don't get flooded by questions from those who forget or never knew there was such a thing.

Secondly, you know, don't you? that many will use your cool new group to make money dishonestly by selling freebies. I'm not saying you're responsible for these people, just that it would be very easy to do in such a group. *sigh*

Lastly, there are many builders/designers who make items nocopy/mod/transfer and explicity ask their customers NOT to resell them. Yes, it's obviously an unenforceable request ... but given how much effort goes into making clothing etc. it's all a steal anyway, so why not honor their request? Again, you of course are not responsible for people ignoring the designer's wishes. SL really is to blame, for not coming up with more sophisticated transfer permissions. Again, *sigh*

can you let me know what designers ask this?
as much shopping as ive done ive never seen a store yet that says these are transferable but dont resell them

Hey Arua. Naming names in the forum is a nono, and besides why bother discussing whether designers are right or wrong in requesting this? I used to work for one, is the only reason why I know. I can think of two of the top of my head, and am not a demon shopper, lol.

There are many resale stores in SL, so Blazin isn't creating any sort of new problem here. I was just trying to caution her/him about a couple of issues that the new group might encounter.
