(1) textures (as opposed to textured prims) with alpha for 'privacy' screens.
Seascapes, sand dunes, beach - the requirement is for waterside builds.
Textures rather than pre-built prims so I can spread them with offsets and repeat factors as needs be.
The alpha would be to soften the edges.
The non-alpha part should diminish in height towards one side
(2) Sculpt textures for *thin* rock walls/cliffs. We're talking a bumpy wall rather than a massive rock. The application is 'privacy' screen.
I use 'privacy' above for want of a better word, as the application is really to hide somebody else's something rather than the illusion of hiding my something from others.

Rectangular screens without alpha just don't look right to me.
Actually, no screen looks right to me

However. One of my parcels has a neighbour who prefers the easy (for him) option of ugly ban lines imposed on everyone else, rather than going to the trouble of setting of a decent security orb. (And let's not get into the need for such here. That horse gets flogged to death in a regular ritual sacrifice in the Residents Answers forum.)
So now, I have screened his ban lines from my view using some prims with an invisibility texture - which hides any alpha textures beyond it. That works a treat. No more ban lines to be seen.
However, the remaining view is a bit odd, albeit better than ban lines.
Linden water is alpha, so the sea around and beyond him disappears.
His darkened oh-so-private windows also disappear

I'm putting up a second layer of visual screening on my side behind the invisibility prims.
This one should have alpha to soften the top edges and one side.
Or it could be a thin (no more than 1 to 2 metres) tapered rock wall.
Anyone?
