The set target scripts I have in my tables for human platters to lay down have to be reset by owner each time someone uses them.Big hassle. Anyone know of a more reliable script I can add to the table and use my full perm 'lay' animation?

Aren't those the ones I gave you? Shouldn't behave like that. I don't know what time I will have available, but would be happy to help you.

How often are you setting target? Unless avatars of greatly different sizes are using, the target should be set and then those scripts removed, leaving only the generic sit script, which should recover fine from being used.

If you've moved on to another sit target system, just ignore.

Yes I think these are the ones Renee - whenever I am not around the human Platters can't lay down. Weird. I have to reset them every time someone gets off the table and when the sim restarts.

I appreciate the offers and am wiling to try any new ones out to see if they stay set.

maybe you'll want to give my tutorials a try:

http://www.xstreetsl.com/modules.php?name=Marketplace&file=item&ItemID=1233166

that's telling you the secrets of sit/unsit.

Otherwise, if you say you have to reset the script after owner changes, try to put in this in your script:

on_rez(integer num)
{
llResetScript();
}

it will reset the script anytime it will be rezzed by the new owner and should fix the problem. the code belongs in the default state somewhere after state_entry() {}
