Looking for a scriptor!

Hi,

Are you a scriptor? I have a small project if you are and would like to tell me how much you would charge to make it?

So I saw a game that I would like to have made in SL. It a simple game but that dosn't mean that the script is simple. It goes like this.

I would like a script that I can put into a platform. I raise the platform to any height I want and I have people jump onto the platform. The game is like "King of the Hill". People try to push others off the platform until the last person is standing. Here is the twist. I would like to set a time limit. Say 2 min. or 5 min. At the end of the time, the person who is still on the platform with the longest time, wins.

Some requirements would be.
1. I would like the platform to announce a begin signal, and announce each min left. Also I would like a 5 sec count down. You know 5 4 3 2 1 Times up, sort of thing.

2. I would like it to announce the winner.

3. I would like to but money into the platform that will pay the winner whatever I put in it (or anyone else for that matter)

4. I don't want anyone to registar to play just have them being recognized as playing when they step on the platform (while the clock is running)

So, what would that cost me and how long to make it?

Hi Julie,
just a heads up, if you want to protect your idea's from here out, never post them in the open forum. Not saying anythiing about the nature of your idea but unscrupilous people could already be working on your idea from just reading your post. Also, might be good to understand perms, I see you have not asked for full copy perms (things like that can have a great influence on costs). Lastly , how do you know if you found a good scripter? I would suggest you approach one of the scripters clubs asked for refferrals.

Thanks for the warning Ray. I really appreciate it! I'm not a seller so I'm really not interested if someone takes the idea and makes it there own. So I guess that get me to the point of control of the product. I don't mind others having it so if someone thought they could build it and sell it, that would be good too. The only think I would ask is that it is copyable so I don't lose my copy. (copyable for me anyways). Anyways, the product works, I guess I found a good scriptor (big smile)
