Hi everyone, I've seen people using chat , where it comes out as ------ instead of the chat words being displayed. Is this something I can buy? I'd really appreciate any help I can receive and thank you in advance I did several searches for a few days now and just can't seem to find the right word to search for it.

Best guess: that happens when they are using a font your computer doesn't support - I see it a lot on Japanese sims, for example, since I don't have asian fonts loaded on this machine.

So that's what they're complaining about when I'm using my IME. (^_^) That's okay, I only know ten words newayz. (T_T)

If you expand the language settings for windows to include a few more languages, I'm sure ａｎｙ text you'll get will be readable. I have Japanese, Chinese, Korean, Vietnamese, and Cyrillic installed just so that some of the web sites I visit aren't a jumble of mess... Even if I can't read the stuff myself. (^_^)y
