Hi Hope,
What do you mean by you cannot get it to work? Are you trying to get water to roll down it or are you trying to get your avatar t slide down it? If you are trying to get your avatar to slide down it I think that is an animation. You will need a custom animation that is made for the water slide to make that happen if I am not mistaken.

That is usually a combination of a pose ball that is programmed to move in a set course down the slide after someone sits on it, and then release them at the boyttom, plus a custom animation for the person in the "sliding" position. It's rather tricky to set up, really.
You may want to look at some existing waterslides in-world, like the ones Siggy Romulus makes, to see how they do it.
