All the dance floors I have seen are 10x10 minimum, and can't be modified. I need a slightly smaller one for a room in my house. 8x8, or a 10x10 that can be modded to stretch down.

my lsDancefloor comes +mod,+copy - but its not sold out the box - IM me if you are interested ... price would be L$2k for the dancefloor, the control console and a short introduction. If you think this is high, add the same sum to pay some good texture designer for some uniq club textures, and you have a price compareable to the most common dancefloor starting with M.

The layer script is tested between 5cm and 50m, default sizes are 10x10, 20x20, 32x32 and 40x40, the later are megaprim versions. Both square and round shape is possible and odd sizes like 20x28 megaprim are a bit tricky but also possible. Each tile needs 4 prims + a root prim for the linkset. The control console needs 37 prims *oups* but you can wear it as a hud, if you are low prim. The real magic is in the console, you can freely mix textures, color, alpha, light, zoom, rotation, animation and shape on 4 layers. You can send a setting from the console to the dancefloor, load/save it into presets for your cues and define a stack to loop or shuffle. You can rez two consoles, e.g. one as a hud, to copy backups of you presets from one console to an other.

You can look at the 20x20 version in secondlife://Moewenklippe/128/128/23 ... the lsDancefloor control is set to allow acces for everybody. You can restrict this to Owner, Group, named people or delegate authorisation to my lsDeejay system.

(Ok.. blatant self-promotion here.. But...) If you are still in the market for a dance floor, come take a look at "The Dance Foundry" It's a fully customizable floor with multiple layers, multiple zones, and built in particle effects. The default configuration is a 18mx18m floor, but can be sized smaller, or up to 30mx30m.

More floor designs and particle effects can be added to the floor through the use of notecards

Come take a look at The Dance Foundry in person at the HeZ Showroom: http://slurl.com/secondlife/Bloodlines/84/155/28

Thanks ;)
