Need a vendor with these options ...

Hi all,

I'm looking for a vendor to sell stuff. I will sell my own stuff but also other people's stuff. Most of these items are NO TRANSFER so I need to find an easy way to have items from other people put into the vendor or vendor server. Maybe it would be good if it could handle the stocks and tell the buyer when a product is out of stock.

I want to set up different commissions for different products and different people.
Example: Mr.X is adding his furniture to my vendor and I will be able to set up the commission that he gets and the commission that I get (50% for him /50% for me for example).

What would be the best solution for me?

Well, first off, the major obstacle is the "No Transfer" items. It means what it says, the object, piece of clothing, script, can't be transfered from one AV to another. Putting a no transfer item in a vendor will only add to your future problems.

As posted above I'm afraid this is impossible.

If an item has been given to you with "no transfer" permission, that means you can't transfer it, which includes selling it through a vendor.

Potentially, it could be possible for ok-copy no-transfer items to be sold through a vendor built in this fashion, but it would be rather awkward and risky for the seller.

Not sure if can give it to the creators, they then add their stuff and give me the vendor. Will this work?

Okay - I do what you want to do...

for the no transfer stuff, I use the aubreTEC GiftServ (500L or 600L I forget) - actual no trans packages are placed into the giftserv server. A 'redemption' card (box, whatever) is created that, when clicked on, will deliver the actual package. Sell the 'redemption card' as no-copy, yes-transfer.

I buy your product - I receive the 'redemption card' and can use it or give it a as gift or whatever. Once it is used and the actual package is delivered, it becomes expired (and makes a great proof of purchase.)

if I want others to sell my stuff that is no trans - I give them as many of these 'redemption cards' as they want to resell (ok - I sell them at 'wholesale prices' and offer to buy back later if desired.)
