Hello. I am looking for a script that would make a wall inside a home disappear/reappear...controlled by a button or control box placed on the wall. I've asked a few people inworld who have all said it is common to find, but none could point in the right direction to actually find it. Also checked on SLexchange and couldn't find it either. Any help would be much appreciated!
Thanks!

Thank you for the quick reply. From what I see in the descriptions for those, it seems like even though the wall/window would be transparent, I could not walk through it. What I'm trying to set up is a section of my home that has a "hidden room" I don't want a door or moving bookcase type entrance because I would like when the room is exposed to have a full wall as an opening, blending it into the main room, not just a doorway. Hope that makes sense and again I appreciate your help

I can think of a couple of ways to accomplish this. IM me (I'm not in game right now, but that will give me your name in game so I won't have to look it up.)

A script eh? All i do is 90% Transparent and then click on the Phantom check box, which enables people to go through that object.

I had thought of that also....but I have seen a home that had a wall that would disappear when operated by a control box/button. I would prefer to have that, instead of making the object transparent/phantom each time I wanted to utilize it. If I cannot find what I am looking for then I guess I will go with changing it to phantom each time.

don't scripts turn things phantom as well as alpha (transparent) not sure... or can a script swap out prims, one that is the wall then one that would be the transparent phantom one?
(not a scripter else I would do it for you)

Rhaorth, yes. And I've spoken with Ange in-world and scripted just such a solution. She touches a button, and the wall goes phantom and alpha. Touches the button again, and there it is. There is no movement, but one way, you can see and walk through it. The other way, well, it is a wall.
