I can create the clothing designs but not the texture. I need a good latex texture in a variety of metallic colours and, of course, black. Can anyone help?

99% of the clothing design is the texture and the other 1% you get free from Chip Midnight or Robin Wood.

I do create my own textures I just can't get the latex one right. Anyway why are you judging? If you can help great if not fine. I'm sorry if my lack of being able to create a convincing latex texture offends you.

Latex textures simulate the way light would reflect off a shiny surface that conforms to the Avatar's body. As such, there is no texture available. Latex is either painted by hand, or rendered in a 3D application such as 3DSMax/Lightwave etc, using the avatar mesh available from SL's website. What the person posting above was trying to say is, in the case of clothing, there's really no substitute for actual artistic talent and/or technical know-how. It's something you have to learn, practice, and grow into. Hope this helps. :)
