Romantic Radio / Stations

I have a free radio I have been using for ages now and it's great, Menu driven station selection as I can re-size and texture it (although script can's be edited unfortuatly for me to add extra stations)

Having just made a nice "romantic" dance foor and animations, it would be nice to find at least 1 romantic radio station. Unfortunatly this does not have one

If there a free menu driven script around that I can put into a radio of my own build?
And/or some romatic music stations?

I own a formal women only ballroom and I use Sky.fm, slowradio.com, and 181.fm (The Heart) at various times.

Search in google and that will get you the website for those stations, then load the asx file on the page into winamp, or VLC media player and you can get the stream info from there. Sorry I am not on to give you the address.

I actually found an In-World Love radio that has love song channels installed as has some nice poofer effects also.

Thought I think I might be getting some interference with my other normal radio (channels)

but I shall still follow up your leads.

I suppose it all depends on your intended use. Do you want to have an ongoing radio broadcast so anyone who happens by can take a swing around your dancefloor? Or are you thinking of a more personal experience when someone special drops by?

If it is the former, then I guess it's just a matter of finding a suitable url. Taste is so varied that it seems almost pointless to suggest one even if I had a suitable recommendation to hand.

Otherwise, you can broadcast your own music to SL using WinAmp in tandem with the Shoutcast plugin. Both are free and there's plenty of documentation to show you how to hook them up. WinAmp Pro costs around 20 US dollars but it's worth the small expense since it allows you to rip higher quality MPEGs and other formats. I set my PC up as a hi-fi system and ripped my entire record collection with it. After that you can buy a temporary broadcast url in-world. Prices vary but 100 lindens should buy a day or 1000 lindens will get you a full month.

You can't fail to impress with Mantovani's 'Song Hits from Theatreland' when that special person knows you chose it for them personally.
