My partner and I are trying to get in character for our new home, and need to backdate our looks a bit. Can anyone recommend places that have nice 50s/60s-era clothes?
For her, I'd love to see a white t-shirt with cigarette pack rolled up in the sleeve and blue jeans with the cuffs rolled up high. For me, I'd like some nice calf-length and knee-length house dresses.
Period furniture recommendations also appreciated!

Not trying to solicit business but I have a few outfits at my store. Not to pricey they were made just for fun. http://slurl.com/secondlife/Velda/253/131/31

I would also check Artilleri for furniture and clothes.... also for hair, to some extent. Ivalde also has lots of vintage-inspired dresses.

Whenevr I need uber specific items I almost l aways look on slexchange.com. You can search pretty exclusively and don't need to rely on teleporting or rezzing textures. It's so much faster.

Wildfire, I haven't been to check recently, but Runaround Sue's used to have a guy's "greaser" freebie - parts of that might work for your partner. (I'm thinking there was a t-shirt, in particular.)
They also have some clothes for sale inside, with a LM to the designer's main store. I can't remember whose it is atm. (And I just realized you're looking for house dresses, not going out dresses, and I'm not sure what they have at all.)
I love Ingenue for 40s/50s women's hair and dresses. Artilleri is worth a look too.
