Anthro tend to Look more human and Real like as Furries look more animal and in most cases Cartoon and playful.

Dont get me wrong I love furries, but as tested first hand, it seems most of the people in SL will go Ooooo at a Anthro Avi while others will not even take you Seariously if your a furry.
((this sucks hardcore if you are in a Role Play sim trying to fit into somekind of epic setting. or deep story line))
I have tried just wearing ears and tail, but people think i'm a dog or a neko(cat), and I'm tired of that D:

What I am Looking For:

I am looking for a White Fox Avatar, Not too cartoon like but more in the apeerance of a anthro.

my main goal is to wear it in Japanese Themed sims as a Kitsune (white fox)

I think I have been looking for about.. eh.. well awhile anyways, and I'v come up empty handed.

The Closest thing I have came to find what I am looking for was this cat avitar you can see a real Searious look that most Furry avatars lack, along with a nice Almost Asain Feel to it

however the maker said they had already made a white fox but they where never going to sell it D:

if you have seen a white fox that looking something like that in world OR if you know anyone that might be willing to fiarly Make it for me. - I dont care if it gets sold to the open public - heck i think the japanese would like it.. but anything is helpful...

Wish I could help but I can't really think of anything suitable. I do know where you can get kitsune skins and ears/tails but I've no idea where you can get the face too.

I'd love if you could share the landmark for the place where you saw that last avatar though (the cat one). My search-fu's failing me at the moment.

Anthro (anthropomorphic, "shaped like a human" and furry are supposed to be the same thing. It means that the character walks on 2 legs, is dressed like a person, talks and so on, while quadruped avatars are supposed to look and behave like animals. Nekos are something else. They are people with cat features, while furries are animals with human features.

However there are levels of animal-ness in every avatar. Take a look at the huge marketplace at the sim "Rocket city furmeet" where all the big furry creators sell their avatars. I am sure you will find something there.

There's a Kitsune AV that's very neko-ish located at Monsoon in Rosewood Fusion Bay (158,230,24).
