So this is the skin I am looking for, the owned of that shape said that he would only give me the localization of the shop if I bought the 1K shape. I don't feel like wasted 1K for a shape and more 3K more for the skin.

So if you can find this skin you will win some Lindens for it.

It is without a doubt, the male skin from FNKY.
The pants are from Laundry in Nakama.
The shoes also look like FNKY's.
Not sure about shirt and jacket.

but nothing went wrong... I didn't bought the shape, just said that I didn't feel like wasting 1K in the shape to know where is the skin... and I am going to see if I buy the shape or not...

I understand that, but it's unreasonable of the seller to try and bribe you into buying something you don't want just for that information.

Just my personal opinion, but I wouldn't spend L$1000 on *any* shape. Before buying one, try playing with the sliders and making one yourself. If you aren't sure about proportions, etc. it can be helpful to have a friend whose opinions you trust help out and give suggestions/comments. If you just want a pleasing, natural looking shape, it isn't too hard to make yourself, as long as you don't put the sliders at extreme levels. (Unless extreme is what you're after, of course.)

I agree. That is a LOT of money for a mere shape.

By the way Dent, to clarify: I meant, bad attitude before-sale could be repeated after-sale. When things go wrong, that's not what anybody wants.

Who`s the seller? I can`t seem to figure out how to find that out.

If it happens to be Madesigns I`m thinking the reason is that with each shape purchase they have a notecard inside telling the shape purchaser where to go to get their avatar to look exactly like the model. This includes where to get the hair, attire, shoes, etc. It`s not free information for anyone in their case, its something they give once you buy their, quite expensive, shape.

While it`s not secret information, and I`m glad you got your anwer here, that doesn`t mean MADesigns is someone you should steer clear off. I don`t think they were trying to "bribe" at all, as I said, with them that information is something one gets alongwith purchasing the shape.

I even IM the shop owned to know where it was the skin but of course he said that i would know if I bought the shape, but he indeed said how much it costed and such.
If I had no reply here I would have bought the shape. Well no need now eh?

Indeed. Not sure how workable a referral system would be, but even if a shape seller didn't make a sale, at least he'd get a commission. I wonder if merchants who sell such "information" even ask for permission to put skin and clothing products they didn't create on their vending machines. Let's face it. Most shapes look pretty unappealing without them, and it could be argued that they're contributing most towards a shape's saleability. Not to mention the tight reproduction restrictions some clothing/skin merchants list in their stores. I realise that's done to discourage ripping, but what is more wrong? Using somebody else's copyright protected image on your vendor without asking, or selling information about where to legitimately buy that image?

TBH, if this shape fell within the regular price range the response wouldn't bother me as much. Witholding information about a single item in a snapshot until you pay over $4 USD for something you don't need doesn't do the shape industry any favours though IMHO.
