I am not digging the houses/mansions and such I've seen in SL. Perhaps I am going to the wrong place, I don't know for certain. I have about 8,000sqm available for the house, my land is 18,xxxsqm in all. Something under 800 prim would be ideal. I want nice textures, or the option to retexture it.

My price limit is $10,000L..but a little flexible if I love the place. I want a house that is laid out like most real houses are. Not just a box with 4 walls and nothing but open space. If you have some place I should check out post it, if you got pictures, post if...or even if you can make me one. Hit me up for sure.

Currently I have a house that Jack Built. It's ok, but would like what ive mentioned above better.

Do you have an idea of what you would like? (i.e. floor plan, number of bedrooms, etc.)

IM me and we can talk. If I can't build it then I know a few builders that will look your requirements and let you know if they can.

I will be on SL around 12:30am EST, since I am at work.

Downstairs, I want an open foyer, high ceilings in the rooms...living room, dinning room, family room, bakers kitchen and sun room downstairs

Upstairs is easier... a decent sized master bedroom with room for a master bathroom suite.. bathtub, shower, sinks, crap like that needs to fit. I also want a game room upstairs.

Game room can be open, maybe with an overlook to foyer or family room. The master bedroom needs to be closed off.

Thinking stone house or stucko, at least the front anyhow...rich looking textures throughout

The floor plan that I am going off of is from this website....

Minus the office, wtf needs one in SL :) I like nice windows and such. Perhaps wood floors inside, I am brain storming. I like cedar shake roofs, or even a Spanish type theme. A 30 by 45 footprint or a little larger would be nice. :) Wooden stairs with runner, heh. House needs to be mod/copy no transfer of course.

If you want an idea of how i want the outside to look, here is a picture

Maybe I am asking for too much in SL. :)

That doesn't sound like too much to ask.

Let me see what I can do for a rough draft on the floor plan. Did you want only 1 bedroom upstairs? Did you want real stairs going up to the second floor or a ramp? Real stairs would eat into the prim count.

Best bet for you would be to find the textures you'd like to use for the house so you get exactly what you want. I've got a bunch of free textures you can look at at my office if you'd like to look through there first. Might save you some money on textures.

What time frame did you need this house by?

I want real stairs. I have 18,xxx sqm of land which should leave room plenty of prim if I have to go over some. Ya, picking out my out my own textures would probably be best (I also have a lot I can do through). The game room needs to be large enough for furniture, pool table, poker table, and a bar. If you think a second bedroom upstairs is doable for me. If not, a sitting area/waiting room is a good median. I also want windows that are realistically placed. I love bay windows also lol. :)

I am excited to know that my real life idea could maybe be done to satisfaction on SL. I forgot to mention it, but I want crown molding throughout if possible, tray ceiling in dinning/living rooms, and frame molding in dinning room.

If you are crafty with kitchens, custom made cabinets would be nice.

Do you want real crown molding or a texture with crown molding in it?

Tray ceiling is fine. Not sure what you mean by frame molding though. You'll have to show me an example.

What do you need for kitchen cabinets?

I want real crown molding, but if thats tidious to do...texture will work. What I meant by frame molding is:

I couldn't recall what its actually called. :)

For the kitchen...

This comes to mind.

Now I can find premade kitchens in SL, just dont know how they will fit yanno?

The end result for me is cabinets on both walls, an island, fridge, microwave, dish waster..granite/marble tops

I am not sure if this is a texture for crown molding, or if it's actual crown. Thats the look I had in mind. Something obviously not part of the actual wall. :)
