Some time ago there was a thread that talked about the Lindens creating a grid wide wedding registry. Until that happens, does anyone know of a wedding registry system we can use at our business--where brides could come and sign up for either a bridal shower or wedding? I'm not sure if this concept is unique to the US, but just in case: a registry is where the bride and groom choose all the things they'd like to get as gifts, or that they will need starting their lives together, then guests are told where the couple has registered. Guests can then go and access the list, choose something off the list and purchase it. Once the gift has been purchased, it is removed from the bride and groom's registry, thereby preventing duplicate gifts. At any rate, if there's a system out there, let me know!

Well, depending on the expectations on how it is supposed to work, it could actually be something not that hard to be scripting. If a notecard was used to store the list of items, full entry of what something is IM to the person checking or checking off items with just a simple number pick a number system to take items off the list, -- something along those lines. Then again, doing up a note card with what they want with each item numbered and then just having a script show the free numbers and let people pick a free number to remove it from the list would be a lot easier to do it. If you catch me in the game, let's chat about it. Mu
