Hair for hats.

Bought a great hat, but my hair pokes out. I saw hair designed especially for hats recently, but cannot recall where that was. Anyone know where they sell women's hair that's bald at the top especially for hats?

And not to derail this thread but I'm wondering the same about men's hair that is intended to wear with hats.

You can find excellent hat hair at Finding Ash.

If you have a favorite hair you want to use with hats, and it is copy/mod, you can unlink the prims that stick out and delete them, or edit them so they are no longer in the way.

In fact, OTHER people can edit your hair as well, if you simply rez it inworld as you would a box, position it on your head using the build sliders, and give them permission to edit your objects. When you take it back into inventory and wear it, it will show up on your head in exactly the same position it always was.

Be sure to make a copy first and rename the hat hair something unique, and if you are unlinking individual prims either be very careful to check the "edit linked parts" box, or edit it in a place where that's the only thing you own, so that you can unlink it completely and use "select only my objects" to easily relink it when you're done.

Yes thankfull all hair is copy/mod... so you can make a copy of your hair and call it hat hair or something... I have a favorite ponytail I wear with a baseball cap on my RL work avie... I took a hair rezzed it in world... placed the hat on it, moved the pieces that were poking out and then linked them all... that way the hat is always ready to wear.
