Can someone recommend a good in world translator (in particular Portuguese to English)? Getting tired of cut and pasting into google translate!

!?

You mean on my post? I used image tags originally but I've changed that now. Take another look at it.

Or do you mean the link itself leads to a little red cross? In which case I don't know what's going on there. It works fine for me.

For the img tag to work you need to add a ? to the url:

Allthough I do not know if this is true for all browsers.

Ferd's free Google translator seems as effective as any, i.e. a lot better than nothing. It's Portuguese will be as good (or bad) as Google's. http://slurl.com/secondlife/Hyles/131/82/22

Ah, now I get it. I use Firefox with basic settings on the forums so the plain old image tags always look fine to me. I often wondered why folk felt the need to fix a link I posted. Mind you, I just realised the url tags also work with basic settings so I guess I should stick with those.

URL tags don't work for many (most?) of us, in that the result isn't clickable, but at least they do leave the URL visible for copying and pasting.
