Menu Controlled Modeling Stand

Hi all. I don't know if other photogs out there have this need or not, but if the product exists, I certainly haven't found it.

My problem is that I have over 200 poses in my Female Modeling Stand alone and scrolling through so many animations to get to the one I want alot of times is a huge pain.

I was wondering if there exists a menu based, customizable modeling stand. Ideally I would like one where an initial click gives a category menu (sitting poses, action poses, classic model posesn, pinup poses, naughty poses, etc...) and then each submenu off of those the pages of poses in that style. I understand I would have to set up the categories and sub categories, but does a product like this exist?

I would assume this is very possible because it's basically the same menu system that runs MLP sex furniture.

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

Well, I'm sure that someone makes exactly what you're looking for, all put together. But if you don't find it and you only need one of them, be aware that you can buy sexbed engines retail, and put them in any prim. Deviant's is very easy to add poses/anims to, and you can also easily remove the built-in ones and rename the menus.

If you could find a modeling stand tho, it would probably be cheaper.

Well, I've been searching in game and on the commerce sites (SLEXCHANGE and OnRez) and so far, no luck at finding this item.
I'm frankly very suprised. It seems like this item would be immensely popular among photogs so I'm going to restate the specs - My "Wish List" in hopes that some enterprising resident decides to make and sell this product.

Item - Model Pose Stand
Functions Needed -
1) Must be able to support 200 + animations
2) Must have configurable menus and submenus to select said animations (i.e. Main menus would have categories - Sit Poses, Pinup Poses, Action Poses, etc... and submenus would have the individual poses)
3) Must have the ability to rotate the model either with buttons on the stand or another menu off of the main.
4) Must be hideable (again, either spoken command or menu option).

Functions on WISH List -
1) Configuration of menus based on notecards for ease of use.
2) The ability to load notecards to invoke different menus (i.e. Load Men's Poses/Women's Poses)
3) The ability to rez poseballs for couples poses, again based on menu.


That's it. You make it and I'm sure people will buy it.

take a standard posestand, put a devpose bed engine in it and a rotate script, and you have it. seriously.

Except for the hiding --- altho the devpose engine itself goes invisible, you would have to add a hide/show for the entire thing as well i guess.

HUDDLES HUDs have *most* of the functionality you're talking about, but not in pose stand form...if you bumped a directional key, you'd move. I wonder if the creator would be willing to put together a stand?

Sheeba, you should put that up for sale. I bought a stand with L/R buttons yesterday and loaded it with 80 poses not realizing how long it takes to click through 40 or 50 poses.

Not 100% the same thing, but posing stand i've made for myself ages ago allows user to make 'sets' of poses by placing notecards with names of poses inside... then it uses keyboard controls to switch between sets and poses in each set. Reason it's keyboard controls rather than menu is, keyboard is quite faster when cycling through many poses.

The content is browsed without caching anything so it can handle pretty much any number of poses and sets you can throw at it, also comes with back wall and floor that you can separately toggle and paint in number of colours. Has some small bells and whistles like automated play through poses in set and whatnot, too.

It's not for sale anywhere since i never got to finish all i wanted to put in it, but if you think it'd be of some use to you, let me know in SL.
