hi,
We try to present the network performance such as show and config routing protocols by simulating boson netsim in secondlife. Rather than using plain boxes, we're looking for someone who could make something like real cisco routers(800-3800series).

Cisco might have something to say about that...

I'm a little confused about what you're trying to do. Are you trying to teach people Cisco's configuration syntax, e.g. "show routes" and "ip address < > < >"? Or, are you trying to model network performance, like netsim?

Either way, I would prolly start from either a Linux distribution (I believe there are add-ons to standard distros for network simulation), or with the Linksys or NetStream open source wireless router code.

Good luck!

Hi Nika, what l3iWU is saying is basically:

We wants someone to design a texture for CISCO Router Type 800-3800. They all belong to the similar family of structure.

Our project will consist of attaching scripting into primitives which are "SUPPOSEDLY" the Cisco Router XXXX, now, our aim is to provide visual AID to what is going on behind the network and as of right now, we are following the syntax of BOSON netsim, maybe a little change here and there but let's not talk about that, it's another topic, which is scripting. Is that... better explanation?

yes, we're trying to teach people what & how computer networking works, etc.
