I've found some texture/tinter for non linked objects but not JUST the tinter, the one in question is 3k for a copy enabled. So wondering if someone knows of cheaper/easier method(s)?

I have a werewolf avatar and I'd like to tint it differently than the maker, yes it is mod/copy btw. I have roughtly 20+/- linked prims and a total of 120+/- individual ones to do so like an easier way to do it. I thought if I rezzed the prims, inserted a tinter and then used a ball to change from.... uh say black to blue all the prims would do same.. Even if the script used color codes or values in sl and auto changed the prim color that would be fine, but finer control though would be nice.

Preferably free choices or open source solutions would be nice,
but please let me know if you can help

Hrm.

I know with furniture, etc, that I can just select the object and then go into the textures, and change the colors. (Using Shift to select additional items as needed)

It sounds like basically the same thing to me, unless I'm missing something.. Have you tried just changing it?

Can also easily select them all by dropping them on the ground, going into "Edit" for one and dragging a box around the rest.

I have yes, basically selected all on ground and when I go into textures it seems to change the first prim but not the rest
