High Quality/Good price House/Build Textures

I'm beginning to learn to build. I would like to find some nice textures to make houses with.

All types of houses, since these are not just for personal use.

Nice high resolution textures, if possible.

What I would especially like to find are textures that match - closed window for the outside, open window (is it an alpha?) for the inside walls.

I want the window to be PART of the wall textures. That way one does not need to build the actual window, for a low prim build. I want both textures to match/line up, if possible; and the outer one to really look like an outer wall.

I also need french door textures.

Have you tried Textures R Us or Twisted Thorn Textures? They sell house sets .. very good quality too.

I think I have some french door sets in a few styles that are free to distribute.

I'll check tomorrow when I can get inworld.

Also if you are a bit handy with photoshop or similar programs, it is not too hard to take a window frame from an outside wall and use it on inside wallpaper.

I got a few free items that can come in handy for anyone interested in building houses.

It just occurred to me - I haven't been there in ages and I wasn't shopping then, so I don't know how friendly they are price-wise, but have you tried Builders Choice textures, by Bob Bunderfeld?

The classified in his profile makes it look as though he'd be very reasonable about custom textures if you needed windows and such to line up. Haven't talked to him in ages, but he was one of my mentors when I first joined SL and he is really a great guy. Worth a look around the store, anyway.

I'd like to suggest also trying Distressed Textures and the Builder's Brewery. I have used their textures extensively in house building and have been very happy with the results.
