Rutgers University is looking talented Second Life Scripter/Builder for the following project:
We wish to have an in-world catalog of our real life non-credit certificate courses. We have determined a workable solution would be to have a networked vendor system that can give out note cards containing course information. Instead of paying for the course in L$, clicking “Buy Now” or “Add to Cart” will simply bring you to a web page with a shopping cart with that course selected via URL hacking. If you have a better, more efficient solution we welcome to hear it. Keep in mind we are a real world university and all our payments are done in US$ via college checks. At current time we cannot do payments via L$, PayPal, StormPay, or any other electronic form of payment.
Requirements:
Vendor system must be able to display images, efficiently use primitives, compiled in Mono, link to off-world website via URL hacking, and give out note cards.
We require at least 6 – 12 months of Technical Support (Documentation, Bug Fixes, E-Mail support, etc.)
We must receive all working asset data (documentation, textures, scripts, primitives, sculptie maps, 3d mesh data files, etc) with full permissions upon completion of the initial release and the final release containing any bug fixes or function changes at the end of the Technical Support Period.
Please send your Resume and Bid to dceodarkstone@dceo.rutgers.edu for review if you're interested.
