I was wondering if there was some kind of aid to purchase, like a bot or mannequin to to act as the other avatar when adjusting couple animations in something like a sex bed?
I have searched everywhere, but have run out of key words to look for lol.

If not I would like to hire a couple or someone to do this for me, I don't really feel comfortable doing sex poses with another avatar lol.

Create an alt and log them in with a text client like metabolt, if your PC cannot handle two viewers.

How on earth do you feel comfortable making a sex bed in this case?

In the viewer shortcut properties target line add " --multiple" to the end (not including the quotation marks); this will allow you to open more than one viewer so you can login with an alt and be your own best friend. ;)

At the risk of being cynical, I doubt I would care to sample, let alone buy, a trifle made by someone who doesn't have a sweet tooth or who hasn't at least tasted the product first.

Having just begun to tinker with animation for SL myself, I'm afraid you will just have to resign yourself to a brain-numbing parade of endlessly bonking avs if you intend to create a product of any quality that will sell.

No application capable of creating animation files for SL produces WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) work. From the expensive Maya through to the humble but marvelous freebie, Qavimator, bvh files lose so much movement detail when compressed for download to the SL client (ie: played in-world) that it is virtually impossible to get away without a certain amount of trial and error on any number of uploads and subsequent tests on at least a pair of sex-crazed avs before achieving a satisfactory result.

I can't imagine even the most desperate camper endlessly waiting around to model yet another fine tuned version of your latest blow-job - not for love nor money. In fact, they wouldn't even be camping because they would have to keep an eye out for your next instruction to hop on that pose ball or whatever.

If you really want to turn a buck on your work, take Monalisa and Malia's advice and get an alt to take the punishment. Invest in a decent upgrade of your computer with sufficient RAM (say 2GB) and a fairly recent graphics card. I'm sure that wouldn't be more than a couple of hundred US dollars, which, in the long run, will be an easy saving on your precious time even if it does not guarantee that you will be SL's next Walt Disney of the Kama Sutra.

I just wanted to let you know that I have been a top of the line furniture designer in sl for over 2 years now. My creations sell great, and I'm well known for my quality building and texturing. This is just my first attempt to create a "sexbed" by setting up my own MPL for my beds, which is a bed containing of many different animations not just sex.

I also cannot create an alt due to my poor connection to the internet, not my computer which has over 6G of RAM. I live in a dead area where the only type of internet service available is broadband.

In the past I have always used preset animation packages, and I wanted to attempt to make my items more unique to my brand by having my own line of set up animations, and yes I do feel uncomfortable acting out a sex poses with someone I do not really know, for personal reasons I will not discuss here.
Yes I know this is a fault against me in my ability of creating a top quality product, but it is one I am determined to find a way around.

Whatever business you go into, you are going to spend a LOT of time doing it.

I would recommend you find something that you enjoy doing and are comfortable with.

I now realize that you misunderstood exactly what I need. I am looking for someone to adjust or help me adjust animations that are made into my own MLP for my bed that I have just created.

Oh and unfortunately my computer wont handle the sl client twice.

I picked you up wrong because you should have specified your poor internet connection, Angelis. I quoted your wording because it gives the clear impression that your computer is a crock.

However, if your problem is merely a question of positioning pre-prepared animations, I have used a method of placing 5cm spheres at the strategic points of my av (hands, mouth, genitals and feet) in one position and then placing my av in the second position to meet those spheres as accurately as possible. A certain amount of discretion is necessary to pick up on the essential style of the pose - now and again you may need to mark the placing of knees, for instance.

The method sounds ridiculously cumbersome but it is in fact surprisingly efficient. I am sure that the task of shifting a few balls around will neither tax the patience nor the building skills of an experienced furniture designer such as yourself.

It is also very accurate since all objects, including avs, are placed according to their central point. I am a stickler for accuracy myself and I have found that using the same av of roughly 6' 6" helps fit the poses better (that is more or less the default height of the Test Male and Female avs - as good an average as any). Questions of gender and even reasonable variations of size or height up to six or eight inches of a difference do not affect the fit noticeably. It is impossible to create a perfect fit for every combination since avs of course vary greatly in all respects but if you capture the essentials of a pose pair as neatly as possible that pairing will appear to work well regardless.

It is also a sufficiently solitary, soulless and technical activity as to keep a clear head untroubled by the merest hint of salaciousness - or so I imagine for I've always enjoyed these more humorous aspects of the cybersex industry.
