This is what i need - and i need it for free. Final Permission of the script: No Mod / Transfer / Copy (ultimately if you want it mod and on the grid that is up to you). Requirements: #1 - Script needs to scan in a 60m radius from the avatar #2 - Script needs to display the avatars in range WITH an extra piece of information via hovertext #3 - The part of the script that gets that 'extra piece of information' is completed already for this project. #4 - The user wears this object as a HUD - a single prim hud. #5 - An on/off toggle via /69 On - /69 off is fine. The final project will be distributed to various freebie locations, especially those that deal with Avatar Creation and will be free for anyway to package in freebie kits for newbies etc. There will be no restrictions on the use of the object as its use is rather limited and singular in purpose anyways. It is not a hard script and I am sure it can be completed in a matter of an hour or less. The purpose of this project is to create awareness and promote a positive change for all - there is ZERO PROFIT IN THIS - it is for the community. Project finished inside of 2 hours! Thank you Revochen Mayne!
What he made was a Freebie Avatar Height Hud.
The HUD reports your height (prim height) as well as those avatars near you.
It will hopefully go in the Avatar Proportion Kit Vaelissa Cortes is working on. I would also like to distribute it to anyone that makes FREEBIE newbie kits or have connections to signup portals where new residents could also gain access to this.
Also, GreenLife Emerald viewer also reports height in the appearance window - though it is off by an inch.
Hopefully LL will be adding such a feature to the standard viewer in the future.
But for now there will be the Freebie Avatar Height Hud!
