Moin, I need an SVG (scaleable vector graphics) logo showing a 'Kephra' a winged beatle. I already did something on my own with xfig and batik, but I'm a scripter not a graphic designer, so the current http://kephra.de/pix/kephra.svg is pretty ugly. Drop me a message, if you are an InkScape or Adobe Illustrator expert, to create a better SVG. The file format must be SVG. Please try on a text/xml of less than 16kbytes, to fit into a notecard. I pay L$4000 (10euro) for a good logo, or offer a few hours scripting services! cioa,Kephra

The insect is spelled "beetle". "Beatle" is one of the musicians in The Beatles. There's a nice looking svg beetle at http://openclipart.org/people/laurent/laurent_scarabe.svg that might serve your purpose. Regarding IP righsw the site says: From: someone This project aims to create an archive of clip art that can be used for free for any use.
All graphics submitted to the project should be placed into the Public Domain according to the statement by the Creative Commons. If you'd like to help out, please join the mailing list. Also, browse the archives to review the project's history. There's some others there, search for scarab or beetle or kepher.

Moin SuezanneC Baskerville, thanks for this site. The site is bookmarked because its a great resource. http://openclipart.org/people/johnny_automatic/johnny_automatic_winged_scarab.svgfits the theme even better. *oups* but I would prefer some original work for 'my' logo. Still hoping that I find someone who is an InkScape or Illustrator Guru and needs some L$ or scripting service ciao,Kephra
