Sorry, not really possible. Buy an island and don't let anyone else come to it.

I didn't think it was possible. But the reason i ask is because i once came across a building and it had no door, so I thought "that is interesting i will perv inside it" - but i couldn't - my camera would not penetrate it no matter how i tried, so it got me interested in "what is that?"

I've never found anything I could not cam inside of. However, if they are using mega prims, they are sometimes hard to properly focus your camera on, and invisible prims will mean your camera cannot get a lock on anything in order to swing it. I suppose if you are in a skybox, and there is nothing else around to anchor the camera, and you enclosed the skybox in invsi-prims, that *might* make it really hard, but not impossible. I can use editing features to get the invsi-prims out of my way and then I can lock my camera on whatever is behind them.

There's now way you an stop av's from camming into your space it's true, but you can do what i do and buy the Mystitool and anyone who lingers within 96 meters of you you can cam on yourself. if they're lookin' at ya, ban there ass and that seems to do it.

they may get a glimpse but won't have time to take notes if you're aware.

Seems like it was just a textured block - a dummy in other words - put there for aesthetic reasons or maybe as a placeholder for the finished article when the builder was done making it.

Any radar or even your minimap will show who's in you vicinity. Draw distance can be set to at least 1024m (viewer dependent). And you can only ban people from your own land.

draw distance 1024m?
you nuts?

... you DO realize that "double the drawdistance" also means "raise the amount of data pulled from the asset servers to be able to render what you can see" to the third power?

I'm not trying to give advice on cam perving techniques, I'm just pointing out the futility of using a 96m sensor scan to identify potential cam pervs :)

Another option would be to use the Emerald client and use the "show look at" option. You'll be able to see the positions of your (and other avatar's) camera anchor points. If they show up on your wall or yourself, then you'll have a better idea who is snooping on you.

I could still spy on you a sim away without having to even focus my cam on you, so even "lookat" won't be of any use. ;)

4096 actually, in Emerald. I've done it.

And it it's more like N squared than N cubed, because most content is within 100m of the ground.
