Piano Scripts

Hi

Does anyone know where I might be able to purchase piano scripts, 1 For the avatar to sit and play the piano, and the other for the music.

Craig's Altman's "Bits 'n Bobs" store. Search for his profile in SL. There's a landmark to his store in his picks. You'll find he sells a piano playing animation there.

As for the music, there are several free scripts for sheet music floating around in the public domain. Some are likely still in the script library here if you do a search on "sheet music". I use a script I wrote for the sheet music in the pianos I make and sell, but Psyche Phaeton and I think Buhbuhcuh Fairchild both had scripts floating around in the public domain early on.

Thanks Sue, I'll check out bits and bobs, I did a search for sheet music here on the forums but had no luck, I'll see what I can find over at slx

Natalie, I'll drop a couple of scripts on you inworld.

Natalie, look in your inventory for a folder called (* Sheet Music Scripts *) I just dropped it on you with the 2 scripts I mentioned as well as a third from Archanox Underthorn. Those should get you started.

I'll be releasing a loadable songbook kit shortly for people who compose their own music and want to release it inworld without some of the inherent caching problems that sheet music tends to be fraught with even after preloading the sound files.

Check back with me later in August if you're interested in trying it with your own music.
