I've been looking for about a week now and found quite literally nothing in the way of alpha leaf textures. I've been working on some sculpted trees (And will be doing a video tutorial for one later today) but so far have had to test the foliage bits with the hanging moss texture, which..well..isn't exactly attractive. So, what I'm looking for, either in-world or can be found on a website or something, is some sort of collection of foliage textures. My wants are as follows, but at this point anything is good really ==== No 'base branch' or trunk bit, as these are going onto a mishmash of faces that is my sculpty foliage Alpha! As in there are leaves, but no background of any kind, just empty space. If not alpha, at least a solid colour background so I can _try_ to edit them to look good. Full perms if in-world. ==== Would be grateful for any information on where I can find some foliage textures.. I'll be your friend forever!

Free texture sites might have some great foliage examples that you could pull leafs from. However, you would have to do the prep and alpha setup yourself. Or, you could hire a graphic designer to do it. If you'd like to talk, IM me inworld and let me know what you're looking for. I'll do some research, and let you know if I have time, and if so, I'll give you an estimate. As far as pre-made, alpha ready foliage...not sure where you'd find that. You could ask someone in SL who owns a nursery, or someone who makes trees where they got their alphas from.... Good luck.

Have you tried making some yourself? I found taking pics in the garden and manually deleting the background works fine for me for creating plants.

Thanks both... I ended up making the texture I used myself, but from a single leaf image from this website: http://www.3dmd.net/gallery/index.php?cat=22The green background is wonderful for photoshop, that's one of the closest cuts I've ever gotten with just the 'magic wand' selection. So, now I've got my leaf textures, yay! And let that site be known, it's wonderful ^__^
