I think they are not allowed by LL so you'd get in problems.

LL allows them, but people who use them are widely considered to be the scum of the metaverse. Good luck with your search. :)

There's an open source one in the works

Well, there's a development effort in support of creating an open source one. It's just a matter of time before you'll be able to just download one, but I suppose at that point the marginal value of such a tool may be somewhat mitigated.
