Does anyone know if any of the places that sell eyelashes have demos available? I'm trying to find a pair for my fiancé's male avatar, and since he figures most eyelashes out there will look rather crazy on a male avatar, he wants to be able to try them on first.

I don't think they have actual demos, but Nuclear Boutique has lovely eyelashes, in all kinds of lengths and thicknesses. You should be able to find some for your fiance that won't look out of place. The staff is very helpful and there are posing stands in front of the kiosk so you can align them before you even walk out the store (after purchase, of course).

Thank you for the suggestion.  Those lashes do indeed look quite nice, though I am not sure any of them would work well for a male avatar, and no luck so far convincing him of that either.  |

Well, we finally managed to find a pretty decent pair, the 'Portia' lashes from Sin Skin. They're nicely made and pretty understated, as far as lashes go, and seem to work quite well on a male avatar. |
